Inclusion in the university context is one of Sapienza's priorities; to achieve this, effective collaboration is essential among the Faculties, the office for students with disabilities, learning disabilities, or special needs, and those who provide services that ensure the right to education.
Given our university size, the Faculty Liaison for students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special needs represents a point of contact for interacting with the teachers, participates in solving specific issues, mostly related to teaching, and directs those experiencing difficulties to the appropriate service.
A specialized faculty tutor for inclusion has recently been appointed to support the academic progress of students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special educational needs.
