Welcome to the International Area of the Faculty of Information Engineering, Informatics and Statistics!
The Faculty is actively involved in promoting its internationalization by offering students, researchers and lecturers many opportunities for study, research, and internships abroad: mobility in Europe in the scope of the Erasmus+ program for study purposes, mobility outside the EU in the scope of the Overseas program and bilateral agreements, thesis work and internships in foreign companies or university laboratories (Erasmus+ Traineeship), and programs supporting double degree courses.
Students who choose to enhance their academic career by performing a mobility period at a Sapienza Partner Institution or a foreign company will be eligible for the calls for applications associated with these initiatives. Study mobility involves attending courses and passing exams and/or conducting research for thesis preparation at the Host University, earning credits and subsequently receiving the recognition from Sapienza. Students will receive financial support, and in some cases, additional resources are also available for students with fewer opportunities.
Likewise, international students who choose the Faculty of Information Engineering, Computer Science, and Statistics for their mobility program will receive support and guidance throughout their study period at Sapienza.
Sapienza also offers students the opportunity to take preparatory courses for the Cambridge ESOL and IELTS exams, and preparation courses for the DELE and SIELE exams (Spanish), as well as Italian courses for international students organized by Sapienza Language Center (CLA). The University Language Center also organizes language tests preparatory to obtaining a certificate of language proficiency.
Below you will find an overview of these opportunities, in order for you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Click on the links to learn more!
